The Engineer is AAT\u2019s core technical hire \u2014 a role for someone who has a strong technical foundation and the drive to develop into a senior practitioner within a fast-moving, cross-border platform. This person works across AAT\u2019s infrastructure delivery and advisory engagements, contributes to client-facing technical work and takes ownership of specific workstreams under the guidance of the founding team. The expectation is substantive contribution from the first month, not a gradual warm-up.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Contribute to infrastructure deployment and configuration activities across AAT client engagements
\n\u2013 Develop and maintain technical documentation \u2014 network diagrams, system designs, operational runbooks and QA records
\n\u2013 Support advisory engagements through research, data collection and structured analysis
\n\u2013 Participate in client site work including rack and stack, structured cabling and on-site technical support where required
\n\u2013 Identify and escalate technical issues or delivery risks with a proposed resolution, not just a problem statement
\n\u2013 Contribute to the development of AAT\u2019s internal technical library \u2014 methodologies, templates and standards<\/p>\n
\u2013 2 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, systems administration or a closely related discipline
\n\u2013 Working knowledge of enterprise networking, server infrastructure, structured cabling or data centre environments
\n\u2013 Ability to read and produce clear technical documentation \u2014 diagrams, specifications and operational guides
\n\u2013 Strong English communication skills; client-facing communication experience is an advantage
\n\u2013 Relevant certification in progress or completed \u2014 CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent \u2014 is viewed favourably
\n\u2013 Comfortable operating with partial information and asking the right questions rather than waiting for a complete brief<\/p>\n
