ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate is AAT’s entry-level operations hire — a position designed for someone who is ready to contribute from day one and willing to develop rapidly through direct exposure to real client engagements. This is not a background role. The Associate works alongside senior advisors and delivery leads, maintains the operational systems that keep engagements running cleanly, and builds foundational competency in infrastructure operations over the first 12 to 18 months. Clear performance and demonstrated reliability are the pathway to progression.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
– Maintain project documentation, operational logs and asset registers across active engagements
– Coordinate scheduling and logistics for site visits, client calls and internal team reviews
– Support preparation of client-facing reports, status updates and governance documents
– Track deliverable timelines and surface blockers to the responsible lead in advance
– Assist with RFP responses, proposal formatting and standard operational templates
– Liaise between the Sydney and Ho Chi Minh City offices to ensure information flows cleanly
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or a related field
– Strong written and verbal English — the team’s primary working language
– High attention to detail and a structured approach to task management
– Proficiency in Microsoft 365 — Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
– Self-starter who follows through on commitments and communicates proactively about progress
– Prior internship or part-time experience in a professional environment is an advantage, not a prerequisite
