ABOUT THE ROLE
The Support Engineer — Infrastructure & Technology role is AAT’s core technical hire — for someone who has a strong technical foundation and the drive to develop into a senior practitioner within a fast-moving, cross-border platform. This person works across AAT’s infrastructure delivery and advisory engagements, contributes to client-facing technical work and takes ownership of specific workstreams under the guidance of the founding team. The expectation is substantive contribution from the first month, not a gradual warm-up.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
– Contribute to infrastructure deployment and configuration activities across AAT client engagements
– Develop and maintain technical documentation — network diagrams, system designs, operational runbooks and QA records
– Support advisory engagements through research, data collection and structured analysis
– Participate in client site work including rack and stack, structured cabling and on-site technical support where required
– Identify and escalate technical issues or delivery risks with a proposed resolution, not just a problem statement
– Contribute to the development of AAT’s internal technical library — methodologies, templates and standards
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– 2 to 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, systems administration or a closely related discipline
– Working knowledge of enterprise networking, server infrastructure, structured cabling or data centre environments
– Ability to read and produce clear technical documentation — diagrams, specifications and operational guides
– Strong English communication skills; client-facing communication experience is an advantage
– Relevant certification in progress or completed — CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent — is viewed favourably
– Comfortable operating with partial information and asking the right questions rather than waiting for a complete brief
